About Us
How YES! Bakery Began

YES! Bakery began with a simple but frustrating question:
Why is it so hard to find bread that actually nourishes the body?
For people living with food allergies, intolerances, or dietary restrictions, bread is often one of the first foods they have to give up. The gluten-free options available are usually made with refined starches, gums, and fillers that imitate bread but offer very little real nourishment.
We believed there had to be another way.
YES! Bakery was created to make organic gluten-free sourdough bread made from real whole grains—bread that people with food sensitivities could enjoy again without compromise.
Rethinking Gluten-Free Bread
Most gluten-free breads are built around starch blends designed to mimic wheat.
At YES! Bakery, we chose a completely different path.
Instead of building bread around starches, we build it around nutrient-dense whole grains like sorghum and teff. We rely on traditional sourdough fermentation to develop structure, flavor, and digestibility.
Our breads are made without the ingredients that many people are trying to avoid:
• no gluten
• no dairy
• no eggs
• no corn
• no soy
• no nuts
• no gums
• no seed oils
Every ingredient is chosen because it contributes real nutritional value.
Bread as Real Food
Our philosophy is simple:
Every ingredient should stand on its own as a source of nutrition.
Bread should not rely on gums, fillers, or industrial additives to hold it together. Instead, it should be built from whole foods that support the body.
That belief guides every loaf we bake and every flour blend we create.

Our bread is especially loved by people who need:
